About us. We were founded by an avid automotive enthusiast, and mailed our first catalog in the fall of 1990. Our founder was raised in Southern California and started the company in Vista, a small community just north of San Diego. The first catalog was just 16 pages. Cleaning tips. To wash your car, simply grab a couple square mailing tube 100% cotton cloths, spray a small area with a misting of one of our products file and use one towel for the first gentle wipe, removing the majority of surface dust and dirt. it''s very important to be gentle with your initial wipes, as dirt on the surface can scratch your paint if you wipe too hard. use the second clean towel to buff the surface dry. keep turning your towels so you have a clean surface against the paint. work from the top down square mailing tube and file finish up with door jambs and lower valances. (it''s important not to let it dry on the paint.) i clean the wheels last. our products won''t harm glass, plastic square or rubber trim. you will not believe the results. it''s so fast and easy. perfect for using in the garage when the weather is bad. great on boats, race cars at the track, as a final file prep before a concourse judging, painted cabinets, motorcycles, chrome, bicycles and any painted or clear coated surface. if you are still unsure about buying it, either come visit us or just remember that your satisfaction is guaranteed!
